slideshow thumbs hover spoiled

Hi!

I was moving my captions below the thumbs.

I did it! BUT I spoiled somehow the hover of the thumbnails by moving the caption to where I wanted (after them).

Any suggestions?

Thumbnails and Tag Navigation

How do I hide certain thumbnails from the home page so they only become available when you click the link in the nav?


For example.. The main focus of my page is videography but I also want to display some photography. so when you click the photography link at the top. it only shows the photography things (they were not visible until you clicked that link)

Project Thumbnails

I am trying to get my thumbnails to be black and white with a color rollover.
From what I can see, I have to upload the actual project thumbnail as black and white and then link the color image to each #project thumb.

I have tried all of the answers I can see on the help. Can you tell me whats going wrong?

Please do not just direct me to the tutorial about hover states of thumbnails, I have read it many times.

Project name placement

Hi,
I would like to set the placement of the links to my project pages
I would like them to be set inside the circles on the right hand side running in a verticle
line from top to bottom.

How can I position my project thumbnails above the content?

I wanted to set it up so that my image galleries (each of which are a project) were hidden on all the pages except the "Video/Images" page.

To do that I used this tag:
.project_thumb, .project_feed_thumb, .module { display: none; }

I would like to for the project thumbnails to be above the content of the page, which in this case are the embedded videos. I'm using the Escher template, is there any way to do this?

changed size on thumbnail - now 1/2 size

I went in to SETTINGS, DISPLAY OPTIONS, THUMBNAILS...

I changed the size and now every image on my main page is only show 1/2 of the image. Help!

Montessori - Centering Pop-up Project Window

Hi there,

Have tried altering my CSS so that the Project Window Pop-up is centered (following some tips in the dev log), but no luck.

Also, how can I make my navigation bar run vertically along the left-hand side rather than along the top? Right now I've disabled the Project Links because I can't get them placed properly.

Andrew, this is a continuation of prior discussion. I've deleted the custom html script as per your instructions and added the selectors into CSS. I feel that I'm halfway there but the Dodge Dart jpgs (which shows specific text info) that I've uploaded aren't showing up. Currently, the cursor when hovering show the background. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Congrats on the Runyon design template. I really enjoy the scalable images and horizontal scroll. Is there now, or will there soon be, a way to add caption / title information under the images? Perhaps using the same cover over title style in the index thumbnail?

How do you add headlines and descriptions underneath the images in a slideshow? I want them to show up right beneath the image, not beneath the thumbnails.

Display all project images in the index

Hi all,

This might not be in the scope of Cargo or this forum, but I'm giving it a try -

For my next redesign (using the lovely counterform2012), I was thinking of an option that displays every image of every project on the homepage/index, and clicking every one of those thumbnails will open up the relevant project page.

Is this possible?
I hope I was clear enough. You can see somewhat similar designs

(a workaround I can think of is duplicating every project by the amount of images it holds and changing the thumbnail of every project, but that idea sounds unreasonable to me)

how will I tweak it to work.

Need help to make website present clearer on iPhone.
Received lots of feedback these were the items of complaint.

Kant - Splash Page Appear Once

Hi there.

I have looked at other questions:

But still can not do what I want.

My splash page is the same URL as my 'Home' page. (I changed the name index to home previously). This is causing me a problem. If the URL was different I could direct my Home button to the page I want as my Home page is a link and I set it's URL in the 'Link URL' box.

Any suggestions?

Hi Cargo Team,


I would like to ask a few questions, I have been trying myself to do the following with no luck.


1. Change index ( at the moment I have just changed the text colour to white so it appears unseen )

As my 'feed' page is going to be personal projects classified by date. Could I have a index that is not thumbnails but just text. Displaying month by month as an index, enabling the viewer to click on that month to see what I have done in it?

So basically have an index without the thumbnails?
Would I have to then put the month and year as the title of each 'project' or is it a filter?
Something similar to this? http://kozaburo.com/index Is this feasible?

If this is I would then like to change the place of the index to left of the page.


2. Is there a way to have a 'back to top' on the feed page? running up the right of side rather than just at the bottom. And also as my contact is within the feed is this possible if I have this under my work to have a "TO CONTACT" so that I can place the contact at the bottom of the feed
